Our ethos
First and foremost, we love cats of all shapes and sizes and actually breed Siamese cats ourselves. We have always owned cats and before we opened our own cat hotel, we had struggled to find a cattery that felt like a home-from-home on the odd occasion that we had to leave them. That's why we understand how important it is to know that your furry friends are in safe hands while you're away. So the first question we asked when we set up The Country Lane Cat Hotel was "how would we want our own cats to be cared for?"
We do our utmost to help your cats relax and settle in to their holiday home.
Our surroundings
The Country Lane Cat Hotel is located in Wokefield, near Reading; in the heart of the Berkshire countryside. The cattery itself is situated in our large, secluded grounds and all of the suites overlook the gardens so our guest cats can keep an eye on the local wildlife. This stimulating environment keeps the cats mentally occupied - a great way to reduce stress.
Our suites
The Country Lane Cat Hotel provides safe, luxurious, cat accommodation. Our cattery is constructed using the highest quality modern materials and all of our suites are comfortably furnished with scratch posts, bedding and toys. Each suite has its own heating system and access to a private fresh-air exercise area.
We currently have 12 extra large luxury suites that can accommodate up to 2 cats from the same family, 2 extra large luxury suites for single cats and 1 luxurious family suite that is suitable for up to 4 cats from the same household. All of our suites are officially licenced with West Berkshire Council.
Our care
Whether you are going on a holiday, moving house or carrying out improvements at home, The Country Lane Cat Hotel is here for you and your cat. We believe that the care we provide is second to none. From day-to-day housekeeping (our suites are always spotlessly clean) to taking care of your cat's medical needs, we always put the wellbeing and happiness of our cat guests first. And of course, play time and cuddles come as standard!
